Ingredients and Items You Will Need.

1 x  200g / ml   Mason Jar

100g (9 Tablespoons)of Natural Raw Honey

4 x Tablespoons of Turmeric Powder (organic if possible)

3 x Fresh Lemons

9 x Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar (must contain the mother)

1 x Heaped Tablespoon of Freshly Ground Black Pepper

1 x  Tablespoon full of either coconut oil or olive oil

20x Drops of cold pressed CBD Oil

Immune Boosting Tincture — Preparation.

Firstly wash out your mason jar thoroughly with hot water and dry.

Wash off lemons very well to remove any dirt, fertilizing agents or insecticides, then grate off every single bit of the rind using the finest section of your grater.

Naked lemons can be put away to be used elsewhere, as we will only be needing the grated rinds.


Immune Boasting Tincture:  Method

Pour the raw honey into the mason jar adding the lemon rinds, turmeric, pepper, apple cider vinegar and oil of your choice (coconut or olive oil).

Proceed to drop in 20 Drops of cold pressed CBD oil.

Stir very well with a spoon, then put the lid on the jar and shake well for 1 to 2 minutes.

That’s it! You have now created an effective super homemade immune boosting tincture.

Dosage and Storage

To get the maximum benefits from your homemade immune booster, you should take one tablespoon after waking up, 10 minutes before breakfast and one tablespoon just before going to bed. Store in the fridge and stir each time before use, as turmeric will settle to the bottom. Keep the stirring going until the honey liquifies again. The taste is fantastic, resembling a lemon meringue flavour.

Things to note are to always use an Apple cider vinegar containing the sediment or the mother like Braggs. Also, never re-dip the spoon you have just put into your mouth into the medicine.

How It Works to Keep you Healthy

Turmeric with its active ingredient curcumin increases the antioxidant capacity of the body. Adding black pepper with its active ingredient piperine further increases the bioavailability of turmeric. Adding fat such as coconut oil or olive oil furthers absorption by allowing the curcumin to be directly absorbed into the blood bypassing the liver.

Raw Honey boosts the immune system period. It increases the number of lymphocytes (white blood cells) that pinpoint disease-causing antigens. Then antibodies build to kill the microbes containing the antigens. In laymen’s terms, Honey is a natural anti-biotic. Consuming honey before sleep also restores and detoxifies the liver. 

Lemon rind or lemon peel is also high in antioxidants, including D-limonene and vitamin C. Actually, the rind contains more vitamin C the actual fruit itself. Increasing studies have shown the consumption of antioxidants strengthens your immune system, dramatically fending off or reducing the symptoms of colds, flu, and other viruses.

Apple Cider Vinegar that is unfiltered (containing the mother) is a mix of yeast and good bacteria that is in effect a probiotic. Probiotics have repeatedly been proven to have immune boosting properties that fight raspatory infections, influenzas and of course the common cold.
